I love a good quote.
The right words in the right order at the right time have the potential to change a person’s attitude, outlook, direction, and life.
What I want to do is pass along some of the quotes that I read and hear, with the hope that someone else will benefit from hearing them.
Here are a few to get started, along with a video that someone put together using a song called “Daylight” by Brave Saint Saturn and clips from the movie Apollo 13. Not sure who the person is that made it, but it’s pretty well done and a clever idea.
“Deep hurt and shattered dreams have a way of blinding us to the character and beauty of God.” (Pete Wilson)
“A major root of misery is acting like God put you on earth just to be happy.” (Rick Warren)
“The talent we have the hardest time recognizing is our own.” (Jon Acuff)
“The way you perceive someone determines the way you receive them.” (Steven Furtick)
“The walls we build around us to keep the sadness out also keep out the joy.” (Jim Rohn)
“People are like stained glass windows: they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light inside.” (Elizabeth Kubler-Ross)
